The new rocket is called New Glenn, named after John Glenn, the first American to orbit Earth. It is much taller than Blue Origin's other rocket, New Shepard, which takes people to the edge of space. New Shepard launches from Texas, while New Glenn launches from Florida.

Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, started Blue Origin 25 years ago. He was at Mission Control for the launch attempt. Mission Control is located near the Kennedy Space Center, where the rocket is launched from.

Even though the launch was delayed, Bezos remains optimistic. He said that the company will keep trying until the launch is successful. He is dedicated to making space travel more common and accessible.
