Europe Makes Historic Ryder Cup Comeback

Patrick Cantlay said the American team would change the Ryder Cup. He thought they would get to 20 points easily. Jordan Spieth agreed that they would win again. McIlroy remembered these predictions as Europe won again. Europe has won twice in a row since that big loss.

McIlroy said the comments about American dominance gave them strength. The team used those words to motivate them. Europe played well against the New York crowd. The crowd was loud and rude, but Europe played even better.

McIlroy said winning the Ryder Cup away is very important. He meant that the Americans have not done that in a long time. Europe has won the Ryder Cup many times recently. They have won 11 out of the last 15 games.
