Russian and Afghan thinkers met in Kabul to talk about philosophy. This meeting was held after Russia removed the Taliban from its list of terrorist groups.

The talk was meant to build friendship and find common ground. But it ended badly when someone used a gun.

A big argument started about modern ideas. Mullah Abbas Zakiri, known for his strong views, shot Alexander Dugin in the leg.

Zakiri said Dugin's ideas insulted Islam. He said Dugin should be punished.

Dugin is in the hospital now, but he is okay. The people who organized the event said they were sorry and will be more careful next time.
