French Police Raid National Rally Headquarters

French police went to the National Rally office. They took papers and records for a money investigation. The party leader said it was part of a big campaign finance case.

Le Pen was found guilty of misusing money in April. She cannot run for office for five years. She used EU money for party staff instead of parliamentary aides.

The police are also checking other possible crimes. These include fraud and money problems. They want to know if the party got illegal loans or overcharged for services.
