SpaceX starts a mission to save astronauts stuck at the International Space Station.

SpaceX launched a mission to rescue two astronauts who are stuck at the International Space Station. The astronauts were supposed to return to Earth in a Boeing spacecraft, but it had safety problems.

NASA astronauts Nick Hague and Russia's Alexander Gorbunov will bring the stranded astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, back to Earth. However, they won't return until February because NASA needs to use the SpaceX capsule for other missions.

Wilmore and Williams were supposed to spend only a week in space but will now be there for over eight months. They were launched into space on Boeing's first astronaut flight, but NASA decided it was too risky to bring them back on the same spacecraft.

The SpaceX capsule carrying Hague and Gorbunov has two empty seats reserved for Wilmore and Williams. Once they return, the space station will be back to its normal crew of seven.

This mission is important because it shows that SpaceX is a reliable partner for NASA. SpaceX has already launched ten crew missions for NASA, while Boeing has faced many challenges.
