E.coli outbreak connected to onions from McDonald's: Important information.

People are getting sick after eating at McDonald's. The government thinks the problem is from onions used on hamburgers.

A company called Taylor Farms sold the onions to McDonald's. Taylor Farms got the onions from a farm in Washington state.

Most of the sick people said they ate McDonald's food with onions. McDonald's stopped using those onions and started selling hamburgers again.

The type of bacteria making people sick is called E. coli. E. coli can cause bad stomach problems and sometimes even death.

The government says the onions have been taken out of stores. They say there is a low chance of getting sick now.
