A rocket called Atlas V carried 27 of Amazon's satellites. These satellites are named after a cold area in space. They will orbit Earth at about 400 miles high.

Amazon launched two test satellites last year. They made big improvements to the new satellites. The satellites have a special coating to help with sunlight.

Some people are worried about these satellite networks. They think the satellites can make it harder to see stars. Some worry about satellites crashing into each other.

Amazon wants to put over 3,200 satellites in space. They want to provide fast internet to everyone. SpaceX has already launched over 8,000 Starlink satellites.
