SpaceX's Starship rocket is ready for a test flight after getting approval from regulators.

SpaceX is planning another test flight for its big rocket this Friday after getting the green light from federal regulators. The rocket's first launch didn't go well, exploding just minutes after takeoff back in April.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has given SpaceX the go-ahead to launch the rocket again because they've met all the needed safety and environmental rules. Elon Musk's company, SpaceX, is looking at Friday morning to send the rocket up again.

SpaceX has made lots of changes to the rocket and the launch pad after the first launch ended with the rocket blowing up on purpose over the sea. The company also has a big job with NASA to use the rocket to take astronauts to the moon by 2025.

The FAA took extra time to make sure the rocket launch would be safe and to check on environmental impacts. After the first launch failed, it caused damage to the launch site and sent debris flying, which didn't hurt anyone but did harm the environment.

The next test flight of the rocket is planned to be really short and won't go all the way around Earth. The plan is for the spacecraft to fly over three oceans then splash down near Hawaii with nothing important on board.
