גילוי כלי עץ עתיקים ביוון

ביוון נמצאו שני כלי עץ עתיקים מאוד. הם בני 430,000 שנים והם כלי העץ הישנים ביותר. In Greece, two very ancient wooden tools were found. They are 430,000 years old and they are the oldest wooden tools.

כלי אחד הוא מקל ארוך, אולי שימש לחפירה בבוץ. הכלי השני הוא חתיכת עץ קטנה, אולי לעיצוב אבנים. One tool is a long stick, perhaps used for digging in mud. The second tool is a small piece of wood, perhaps for shaping stones.

קשה למצוא כלי עץ ישנים כי עץ נרקב מהר מאוד. כלים אלה נשמרים רק בסביבות מיוחדות, למשל במים. It is difficult to find old wooden tools because wood rots very quickly. These tools are preserved only in special environments, for example in water.

הכלים נמצאו באגן מגלופוליס ביוון ונשמרו טוב. באתר נמצאו גם כלי אבן ועצמות פילים בני 430,000 שנה. The tools were found in the Megalopolis basin in Greece and were well preserved. Stone tools and elephant bones 430,000 years old were also found at the site.

הגילוי נותן לנו מבט נדיר על כלי האדם הקדמון. לא ברור עדיין מי השתמש בכלים אלה לפני זמן רב. The discovery gives us a rare look at early human tools. It is not yet clear who used these tools a long time ago.
