NASA's Stranded Astronauts: Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams Come Back.

Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are astronauts. They flew on a test flight for Boeing's Starliner capsule. The flight had problems, and they were stuck in space longer than planned. Now, a new crew is at the space station. Wilmore and Williams are coming home soon in a SpaceX capsule.

Wilmore and Williams both served in the Navy. Wilmore, 62, flew planes. Williams, 59, served in helicopter squadrons. NASA chose them to be astronauts. They each flew to space twice before this mission.

The astronauts were okay with the delays. But they said it was hard on their families. Wilmore's wife took care of things at home. Williams' husband cared for their dogs. Her mom was worried.

Wilmore wants to minister to his church in person. He also wants to smell fresh grass. Williams wants to walk her dogs and swim in the ocean.

The astronauts flew to space in a Boeing capsule. But they are returning in a SpaceX capsule. The Boeing capsule had problems. NASA decided it was too risky to fly the astronauts home in it.
