Ukraine's winter challenge: Making energy strong during war.

Ukraine's Prime Minister says the country might face its toughest winter yet because of Russian attacks on energy systems. These attacks have made Ukraine rely heavily on its remaining nuclear power plants and electricity from other European countries.

The Prime Minister said Ukraine has already survived two and a half winters of war. He believes they will survive this one too, even though it might be the hardest one.

To deal with this, Ukraine is working with European countries to make its power grid stronger. This includes increasing the use of renewable energy sources, which environmental groups support.

Greenpeace, for example, suggests building a solar power network that is spread out, making it harder for Russia to damage. They believe Ukraine could use much more solar energy and are asking for international funding to make it happen.

Greenpeace wants Western countries to support renewable energy projects in Ukraine, both during and after the war. They believe this will help Ukraine rebuild into a modern, environmentally friendly, and independent country.
