NASA speeds up the return of astronauts from the space station.

Two astronauts might come home early. NASA is changing plans to bring Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams back from space sooner.

SpaceX will use a different capsule to bring the astronauts back. This will allow them to return in mid-March instead of late March or April.

The astronauts' original ride home had problems. They were supposed to return in June on a Boeing capsule, but it wasn't ready.

SpaceX was going to use a new capsule, but it needs more work. Instead, they will use an older capsule that was already planned for another mission.

This means a private crew will have to wait. Their mission to the space station, arranged by Axiom Space, will happen later this spring.
