The moon will move in front of the sun. This will hide part of the sun from view. People in Australia will see it on Monday, after a lunar eclipse in Asia.
This solar eclipse is the last one this year. There were two eclipses in March too. So, this is the fourth and final eclipse of the year.
The sun will be more visible in 2026. Both the north and south will see it. There will be a ring of fire eclipse in Antarctica and a total solar eclipse over the Arctic.
